For WordPress sites, at a fixed price

Your WordPress site, fast. $799.

Most slow WordPress sites are slow for the same ten reasons. We fix them on a staging copy first, and show you Google's numbers before and after. One price, published, done in five business days.

Why WordPress gets slow

It's almost never one thing.

WordPress makes it easy to add features, and every feature costs your visitors a little time. These five account for most of it.

Cause 1

Page builders

Elementor, Divi and WPBakery load their whole toolkit on every page, used or not. Often several hundred KB before your content is even considered.

Cause 2

Plugins that add up

Each one is a little more CSS, a little more script, sometimes a call to another server. None is the problem alone. Thirty together are.

Cause 3

Images from the camera

Three or four megabytes where it should be a hundred kilobytes. The media library won't fix it, and most galleries make it worse.

Cause 4

Cheap hosting

On shared hosting the server can take a second just to start answering. Nothing on the page makes up for that, so we check it first.

Cause 5

Theme fonts and scripts

Fonts fetched from Google, jQuery loaded for one slider, a stylesheet for every feature the theme supports. All of it blocks the first paint.

What the package covers

Six pieces of work, in the order we do them.

Each one is measured, so you can see what it was worth.

  1. 01

    Measure first

Google's numbers for your key pages, mobile and desktop, before anything is touched. Repeated at the end, so the improvement is a fact.

  2. 02

    Caching

Page caching so visitors get a ready-made page, and object caching so the database isn't asked the same question a thousand times an hour. We use what your host already provides.

  3. 03

    Images

Modern formats, sized to how they're shown, lazy-loaded below the fold. The main image is preloaded so it arrives first, usually the biggest single change in how fast the page feels.

  4. 04

    Plugins

Every plugin listed with what it costs your visitors in time, and a recommendation: keep, replace or remove. You decide. We never remove one without asking.

  5. 05

    Theme code and fonts

Unused CSS and JavaScript trimmed, the rest deferred. Fonts served from your own domain with a fallback that shows text immediately.

  6. 06

    Database and handover

Old revisions, expired transients and tables left by deleted plugins cleared. Then a short document of what changed and why, so it stays fast after we leave.

  • Plugin audit with the time each one costs
  • Theme CSS and JS trimmed and deferred; fonts self-hosted

  • Before-and-after numbers and notes on keeping it fast
  • The audit fee comes off if you've had one

Want AI-ready too? WordPress already sends words as HTML, which is half the job. Pair this with the AI-ready setup and we do both in one pass.

What we won't do

The limits, up front.

  • Swap your theme or page builder

That's a rebuild, not a tune-up. We work with what you have, and say plainly if it's the ceiling.

  • Install a stack of “optimisation” plugins

Adding five plugins to fix thirty is how sites end up slower a year later.

  • Move your hosting without telling you

If the server is the problem you hear it before we start, with a recommendation and its price. You can stop there owing nothing.

  • Promise a perfect score

A business site with chat and analytics may never hit 100. We aim for Core Web Vitals in the green, which is what Google ranks on.

Questions people ask

Before you book.

Will this break my site?

The work happens on a staging copy, after a full backup, and nothing goes live until you've seen it. If a change doesn't survive testing, it doesn't ship. You also get notes on everything we changed, so your developer or host can see exactly what was done.

Do I need to buy WP Rocket?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. If your host already provides server-level caching, such as LiteSpeed or a managed WordPress host, we use that and it costs nothing extra. If it doesn't, a paid caching plugin is usually the cheapest fix available, and we say so, with the price, before anything is bought.

My site uses Elementor or Divi. Can you still help?

Yes, and page builders are the most common reason a WordPress site is slow, so most of the package applies directly. There is a ceiling, though: a builder ships code on every page that we can trim but not remove. We tell you where that ceiling is for your site before you commit.

What if my hosting is the problem?

Then you hear it before we start, not after. A slow server puts a floor under every other fix, and no work on the page gets under it. If moving host is the right answer we recommend one and say what it costs, and you can stop there owing nothing.

Does it cover WooCommerce?

For a shop with a modest catalogue, yes. Cart, checkout and account pages can't be cached the way the rest of the site can, and we handle that. A large catalogue with many product variations is a bigger job and is quoted after the audit instead.

Why fixed here, when the sprint is quoted?

Because WordPress sites are alike enough to scope blind. The same ten problems account for most of the slowness, and the fixes are known. A custom-built site can hide anything, so that one is priced after we've looked.
